Give Up The Ghost vuelven con “We're Down Til We're Underground” para demostrar lo que es un buen disco de hardcore. Tras haber saboreado un pequeсo adelanto en su EP “Love American” podemos asegurar la evidente evoluciуn que la banda esta experimentando, y aunque no abandone el hardcore de vieja escuela, si que es cierto que en esta ocasiуn han sido aсadidos gran numero de detalles (como los temas iniciales y finales, pasajes en los que experimentan con las guitarras creando sugerentes atmуsferas), que redefinen su sonido. La evoluciуn ha llegado hasta su nombre, ya que anteriormente fueron conocidos como American Nightmare (o American Nothing) y que por debido a que este coincidнa con el nombre de otra banda se vieron obligados a cambiarlo para evitar problemas legales.
Las letras tambiйn es un punto fuerte de Give Up The Ghost. La ironнa y el sarcasmo con los que aborda temas como los amores frustrados, relaciones de pareja, primeros besos, etc. los aparta del tнpico grupo de hardcore que quiere destruir el mundo. Sin duda este бlbum podrнa definirse como su trabajo mas refinado hasta la fecha, aunque su anterior disco “Background Music” quizбs llego a sorprender mas. La voz de Wes Eisold (esos gritos desgarradores no tienen precio) es tambiйn uno de los puntos бlgidos de la banda, pudiendo gustar tanto a los fans del hardcore como a los del emo/screamo.
Sin duda, una de los grupos mбs prometedores del hardcore y una esperanza para el futuro. Temas como “Love American” serб recordada como uno de los himnos de este 2003 que poco a poco nos va dejando. Si alguien dudaba que este fuera un buen aсo para el hardcore, discos como este eliminaran esa duda de raнz. ЎPedazo de disco!

esta bastante bien, aunque yo creo que les preferia como american nightmare... por cierto que se reunen para dar un concierto en el hellfest, seria brutal verles... sobretodo acordandome de que se separaron poco antes del fury, donde les ibamos a ver...
